Just wanted to drop you a note saying how pleased I am with the engine I purchased from Strictly Foreign. After our many discussions, it was exactly what I wanted for my Trike project. I received it promptly, and once installed it started right up and ran perfectly. I was a bit nervous about having a dual carb setup, as I had always used single stock carb engines in previous projects.

I finally sold the Trike after about 5 years, and with approximately 10,000 miles on it, the only thing I ever did to the engine was to change oil and filter and adjust the valves every 3000 miles as you suggested. I never had to touch the carbs or linkage. I never had any kind of trouble with it. Nice work! I have another VW project in mind and will be in touch with you when I need an engine and transaxle.

In 1995 we bought a 1776 longblock from Mark just after he had moved  to Oregon. Now 3 cars, 13 years and almost 90,000 mile later, it  still runs strong. We have just purchased my next motor from Mark, a  Super Street 1915 and look forward to similar results.
